A bridge from personal awakening to societal transformation: heal division by realignment within, and redesign systems to reward what’s good for everyone.

Two years ago, I sat down with my dear friend Dr Dani Mascaro, who invited me to share what I thought were the key points of my life's journey. From climbing the corporate ladder in consulting and banking to hitting severe burnout and rediscovering what truly matters.

What’s the deeper message here?
If you want the distilled essence, without the personal journey stuff, here it is.
First, an overview of where we stand today, from an omnivalent perspective.
We are fundamentally trapped in a vicious cycle of increasingly severe crises because we have been taught the first principle as humans is to think of ourselves as individual entities controlling a mind and body in an external world.
It’s the world’s greatest case of mistaken identity. Because the disguise is almost imperceptible. Especially in today’s attention-hijacked world. But I assure you, it’s there. Like an eclipse.
This temporary misunderstanding masks a deeper, subtle realization that we are collectively universal consciousness that expresses itself as this world, including the integration of physical and mental sensations and perceptions as billions of human body-mind mechanisms.
There is a wave of scientific evidence for what has always been true experientially. What has been communicated through art, dance, music, and song for many millenia before writing and books came into being.
The path forward will involve a deep transformation in consciousness and perception along three interconnected dimensions, most of which is already underway, even though it looks bleak out there.
- Epistemic Integrity: Better sense-making tools and practices.
- Systemic Redesign: Closing multi-polar traps and creating real commons
- Wisdom Cultivation: Long-term, whole-systems thinking
This is the inevitable arc of humanity as it realizes total consciousness.
These insights and conclusions are permeating into society, perhaps at a pace that most of us feel is too slow.
But we also live at a time when we have a tool of mass communication like no other that has come before.
It’s up to us to recognize the false and transform our perspectives to face reality as it is.
I chose a series of educational infographics to help articulate why this matters.
People learn in different ways - I happen to like whiteboard graphics like this. Hope you enjoy reading and reflecting on these.
