Reflection Space
A different kind of conversation. No agenda, no framework, no takeaways decided in advance. Just a question held open, a reading to begin, and a room willing to sit with something together.
The most raw room in the ecology.
Once a month we slow all the way down. No slides, no deliverables, nothing to produce. We read something, sit with it in silence, and talk honestly about what it stirs.
Check-in
Arrive, shoes off. A soft landing before anything begins.
A reading
Something written for the theme, read aloud to open the room.
Reflection
A stretch of music and silence. Time to let it land before words.
Dialogue
Open, unhurried conversation. Whatever wants to be said.
Write down what’s on your mind. Then let it go.
Nothing you type is saved. Nothing is sent. It simply passes through and is gone. That is exactly how the room works.
It begins with a reading.
Every session opens with something written for the theme, read aloud, then a stretch of silence to let it land before anyone speaks. Here is a piece of the reading that opened our first session, on our relationship with time.
“I don’t have time” is never really true. What’s true is that my attention is elsewhere, or split so many ways it can’t settle anywhere.
Busy isn’t a time problem. It’s attention shredded across so many demands that none of them receive enough of it to feel complete.
Remove the map. Live the territory. You are the timeless that gives time its essence.
Look at how we actually operate.
We observe our own processes together. Bring the systems you use, the rhythm you’re testing, the half-built process you’re not sure about, and look at it out loud with people who get it.
Not to copy someone else’s structure, which never quite fits anyway, but to find your own starting shape. You start with something, notice what holds, and let go of what drifts away.
Nothing is recorded. What’s said in the room stays in the room, which is exactly what lets people say the true thing. You won’t find testimonials on this page for the same reason.
What you carry out is yours. After a session you’re welcome to create something - a paragraph, a poem, a painting, a song - and we gather what comes and share it with the group. No deadline. No format.
Once a month, on the last Friday.
A standing hour to think and relate in a way the rest of the calendar never allows.
Come and sit with us.
Bring a question, or bring nothing at all. Reflection Space is for the thinking that has nowhere else to go.
